Synopsis
The documentary “Locomotiva 18: a condutora de sonhos” presents the restoration of the locomotive that lives on in the cherished memories of the people of Porto Velho. The film follows the work over the last 30 days before the train returned to the Madeira-Mamoré yard. With moving testimonies, it brings together memorable figures from the city's history, who share their memories and the accounts of those who faced challenges to bring the legendary locomotive back to life.
